We're all the same
03:28
|

Life, its a bowling ball
its got holes but it still rolls on
Understand we get knocked down
to get back up again
Yes we're all, we're all the same
Time it takes it tole when we get
grey and old just to find
your 55 with a grandchild now
cause we're all, we're all the same
No I can't make it on my own
I'm just another one waiting
for that next ball
to come and sweep me off my feet
I'm begging lord not me, not me
cause I don't want them to see
that we're all, yes we're all the same

Coconut
02:17

Coconut cream and oil radiates from your skin
i smell you when I sleep
When I crawl out of bed your wrapped up in sheets
I got to go to work instead
When you smile it takes a while for the milk to boil
I thought I burned my cappuccino
when I stood at the steps counting my regrets
I miss you

Slovenian Fields
03:51
|

As I cross the border I hear an engine purr
from along next to me
A man pulls me aside and asks where am I for tonight
out in these fields
There's darkness overhead and I'm still not in bed
we've got 20k to go
So I jump on his ride, we both hold on to my bike
to try and push it up the hill
it sounds crazy but
I'm not willing to pay
cause I'm willing to stay
about anywhere tonight
It's me with Bagno and Lady
Maurice makes the coffee
as I take photos of his run down motorhome
out in these Slovenian Fields
As Nicholas waits Maurice can only dream
of them both in a place
that they can call their own because a house aint a home
unless there's Bagno and Lady
But she dictates the play whilst he has to wait
and tosses and turns tonight
It's me with Bagno and Lady
Maurice makes the coffee
as I take photos of his run down motorhome
out in these Slovenian Fields

Have to wait
03:20
|
|||
Little man if you can
can you spare me some water?
Down here its hotter than
planets circling the sun much closer than us
I miss my mother she's at home
bending the ear of my brother
about how she misses the chords
sounding off the skirting boards in the attic above her
I'll be coming home but for now I just don't know
where I'll stay and for now we'll just
have to wait
My clothes still wet and my tummy rumbles
I can't see bed, still got miles to pedal down
country lanes and across these flat plains
with the world below
I'll be coming home but for now I just don't know
where I'll stay and for now we'll just
have to wait
